Dubai Metro is a rapid transit rail network in the city of Dubai, UAE. The stations and trains themselves are equipped with air conditioning and platform edge doors for added comfort and safety. 

 

In its prime, until 2016, the Dubai Metro held the distinction of being the world's longest driverless metro network, spanning an impressive route length of 75 kilometers (47 miles). This achievement was officially recognized by the Guinness World Records in 2012.
